Cakes Canada is now closed.

"All good thing must come to an end."

Over the last several months, we have noted a steady decline in members' visits and, after much deliberation, have decided to bring the site to an end. Social Media sites such as Facebook seem to be the new preferred method of online communications over such "old style" formats like forums. Although we might try and update the entire site to compete with such new formats, the Mods felt their lives did not allow for the undertaking of such a large project.

We would like to thank all our active members, sponsors and visitors, past and present, for their participation and support and the plain ol' good times we all had during the six years the site was running, while sharing the creativity and enjoyment of the art of cake decorating with fellow cake enthusiasts.

We hope all our members found this specifically Canadian resource of help in your cake decorating work, whether pro or home-based and that you all took a little something out of the friendly and supportive community you all helped to create. We would also like to thank our numerous sponsors over the years who have shown that they too believe there is a vibrant cake decorating community in our country who can and will support local business.

Although the forum, our primary resource, is now closed, our own Cakes Canada Facebook page will be kept active. The popular How To section will also remain available for the forseeable future. You can access these articles and helpful cake decorating instructions here.
